Job Title: Part-Time Breakfast Attendant
Location: Staybridge Suites West Des Moines
Schedule: Part-Time, 3 days per week
Typical Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday early mornings
Weekends and holidays required

Overview
Staybridge Suites West Des Moines is looking for a dependable, hardworking Breakfast Attendant to help lead our breakfast service on busy weekend mornings. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, stocked, organized, and running smoothly while providing friendly service to guests.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, works with urgency, notices what needs to be done, and is willing to jump in and help rather than wait to be told every step. The right person is a team player, comfortable working independently, and able to stay productive throughout the shift.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up, prepare, and maintain the breakfast area each morning

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner

  • Keep all food and beverage items stocked, fresh, and presentable throughout service

  • Follow all food-handling and sanitation procedures carefully

  • Keep the breakfast area, lobby, and surrounding spaces clean and organized

  • Respond to guest questions and requests promptly

  • Communicate shortages, guest issues, or concerns to management

  • Assist with other hotel duties during busy periods or staffing shortages as needed

  • Dependable attendance and punctuality

  • Ability to work early mornings every weekend

  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency

  • Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude

  • Able to work independently and stay productive without constant direction

  • Team player willing to help where needed

  • Food service, breakfast, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required

  • Must be able to follow food safety procedures and maintain cleanliness standards

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Ability to lift, bend, crouch, reach, push, and pull as needed

  • Ability to move throughout the hotel and breakfast area during the shift
